About Us

About Iraqi Association

The Iraqi Association was set up in 1987 to meet the needs of Iraqis living in the UK.

We are a non-sectarian organisation providing services in Arabic, Kurdish and English to help with settlement and integration through a range of services.

Whatever your gender, age, sexuality, disability, religious, ethnic or political background, we’re here to provide advice and support.

We are a small, dedicated team providing welfare advice services and support.

Our commitment to offer high quality services is reflected in the accreditations we hold from Advice Quality Standards (AQS), and Office of Immigration Services Commissioner (OISC). We also run social clubs and organise seminars, as well as fundraise for humanitarian projects in Iraq. Contact us for more information or to make an appointment with an advisor at our office.

Iraqi Association Funders

As a registered charity, the provision of our services has been made possible by the availability of funding and resources. We are grateful to all our funders, whose donations enable us to deliver practical support to our community, the majority of whom are refugees whether recently arrived or long settled and continue to face barriers to support and resources including language, low income, disability, discrimination and other vulnerabilities.

We receive grants from a number of trusts that go towards our advice services and projects. If you would like to support Iraqi Association, please email admin@iraqiassociation.co.uk for more information or donate directly.
